Synopsis:

Rami is a young Syrian refugee in Sweden. While preoccupied by a variety of persisting social and identity related complications, his little brother, whom he was forced to leave back behind in Turkey, decides to take the same dangerous route he once took.

Basem Nabhan

Basem Nabhan is a filmmaker and photographer from Syria, based today in Gothenburg, Sweden. He produced and directed multiple short documentaries, Art videos and music videos most of which within the fields of cultural integration and social development, in addition to several other commercial projects. He lived and worked in Dubai – UAE, Istanbul – Turkey and Cairo – Egypt before moving to Sweden in 2015 where he continued working on short documentaries and art videos.
