The Forum consists of a well-connected program with networking sessions and different types of presentations on the topics of Nordic Arabic collaboration, co-production, distribution and new approaches to producing, distributing and screening film. MMF offers unique opportunities to meet the most interesting film professionals from The Nordic countries and the Arab world. The MMF activities take place in The Forum Room, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, in Malmö.

This year’s programme gives the possibility to join in on the journeys of four exciting film projects: a case study of the Egyptian The Clash and wip:s with the first MAFF Development Funding winner The Beauty and The Dogs, the all women team, Danish/Moroccan/Tunisian, co-production Weight Throwers and the Swedish film noir, where Cairo is one of the main characters – The Nile Hilton Incident.

Presentations will be given by our invited Experts, which will give insight in how their organisations work and maybe reveal new possibilities. And during three seminars we will meet dedicated distributors, regional co-production decision makers and dig deeper in to the map of The Arab Film Industry.
