The Cruve is a Jordanian roadmovie. Radi is an ascetic man who lives an isolated life in his van, one night hears a shrilling scream from a distance. He challenges his fear of others, and turn on the front of the bus light to find out where the scream came from. With this seemingly trivial action, he soon finds himself on a road trip with Laila, a recently divorced Palestinian/Syrian women, the Lebanese artist Sami and a mysterious Jordanian policeman. On the road, they face events and facts that provoke them to face themselves and re-evaluate their personalities in a way that allows the line between reality and illusion to blur.

Rifqi Assaf is an award-winning Jordanian filmmaker and screenwriter, with a filmography of four short films as a scriptwriter/director; including the award-winning film The View.
