Hepta (The Last Lecture) as the Closing Film of 6th Malmö Arab Film Festival

Hadi Bagoury’s film Hepta (The Last Lecture) will close the 6th Malmö Arab Film Festival on October 4 at Malmö Live. Director Hadi El Bagoury will present the film, together with the cast Maged El Kedwany, Yasmin Raeis and Amr Youssef.

Hepta has taken the Egyptian cinema by storm, both a favorite among critics as well as the audience, and has become the biggest box-office success for any Egyptian romantic film of all times. Hepta centers around a lecture given by a famous social psychologist about the seven stages of love; through the film we follow four different love stories going through the different curves, crises and pleasures.

The screening will be held at Malmö Live on October 4 with director Hadi El Bagoury together with the cast Maged El Kedwany, Yasmin Raeis and Amr Youssef. Hepta will be a part of the Official Competition for Feature Films.

The closing will also present the winner of the festival’s newly established Audience Award, a presentation of the awarded films from the festival’s competition sections, and a special music performance.
