OPENING CEREMONY

The opening of the Arab Film Festival in Luleå will feature a special concert by Luleå Municipality’s Fristad musician Basim Jamal on clarinet, and Aron Tideström on percussion and saxophone. They will perform an enchanting blend of Arabic folk music and Klezmer, offering a cultural fusion to mark the festival’s beginning. The evening will also include a welcoming reception with a selection of Arabic mezze, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Following the concert, there will be a screening of the film Goodbye Julia, offering audiences a captivating cinematic experience to round off the opening night.
