MAFF Industry Days - Fund
For the past 11 years, Malmö Arab Film Festival and MAFF Industry Days (MID) Funding Initiatives have played a vital role in supporting filmmakers. These initiatives have provided essential backing, including development funds and post-production resources, enabling storytellers to bring their visions to life. Over the years, MID funding has expanded, fostering collaborations between Sweden and the Arab world and enriching the Swedish film landscape with diverse voices.
As we enter our 11th year, the support will be exclusively dedicated to short film projects, with funding provided by Film i Skåne. With an impressive track record of 99 grants and awards given to 164 projects from over 606 submissions, MAFF and MID continue to serve as a key platform for filmmakers from both Scandinavia and the Arab region.
