Lail Nahar centers on Nahar, a popular opera singer who finds himself in a scandal when a video
emerges, accusing him of racism. To rehabilitate his public image, he announces an engagement
to a Black woman, creating an urgent need to find the perfect partner to fulfill this plan. Enter Lail,
an underground wedding singer. As the two unlikely individuals navigate the media frenzy and
public expectations, their journey becomes an insightful and humorous exploration of societal
pressures, fame, and self-identity.

ABDULAZIZ ALMUZAINI
Abdulaziz Almuzaini is the Founder of Sirb Studio and the writer of the Saudi animation franchise “Masameer”. Not just a writer with a rich reservoir of stories, Abdulaziz is a savvy business mind who was able to turn a local Youtube hit into a national sensation with the Netflix Original series “Masameer County” following the theatrical release of one of Saudi’s highest-grossing box office hit to date “Masameer the movie” in addition he has created and written the highly viewed feature film on Netflix “Ras B Ras” and recently directed his first feature film “Lail Nahar”.
