2nd Malmö Arab Film Festival September 28-October 5, 2012The expectations were great before the second round of Malmo Arab Film Festival. The successful premiere festival edition had left a trembling feeling of the future of the festival – it received wide attention and were celebrated internationally as well as in Malmo and Sweden
The second Malmo Arab Film Festival was held between September 28 and October 5, 2012. The number of films increased dramatically this year, screening over 70 films from altogether 23 countries. The Closing Ceremony for the festival was held at the City Concert Hall with Mohamed Henedi as a special guest. Already the second year of Malmo Arab Film Festival everybody knew that the festival had found its foundation to expand upon.
