Lotfi, a Tunisian immigrant who lives in France, is forced to go back to Tunisia to take care of Youssef, his 9-year old autistic son he hasn’t seen for 7 years. Ignored by his child, who deprives him even of the slightest gaze, Lotfi turns it into a challenge, one that will take him on the path of becoming a father, a real one.

Director: Najib Belkadhi
Najib Belkadhi was born in 1972 in Tunis. He started his career as a film and theater actor, and then continue as television director. In 2005, he directed his first short film, Tsawer, which has been shown at more than thirty festivals around the world. Hisdocumentary VHS-Kahloucha appeared on more than fifty film festivals, had a world premiere at the Cannes Festival, and was nominated for awards at the Sundance Festival and FID Marseille.Belkadhi’s first feature film, Bastardo premiered at Toronto’s international film festival and won eleven international prices.
