SYNOPSIS

Hind, Emy and Rania can’t really stand each other. In the 90s, during their university years, they used to sing together in a band in before personal differences tore them apart. When they receive an invitation to sing together in Aswan, the three women reunite and are forced to work together on one last show. As they come together for this surprise reunion, they find themselves in a mix of challenges and comedic moments, remembering their past and rediscovering their present.

KAWTHAR YOUNIS

Kawthar Younis is a filmmaker, based in Cairo, with fourteen years of experience in the film industry. Her latest short film Sahbety / My Girl Friend (2022) premiered at Venice International Film Festival, making it the first Egyptian short film to compete at Venice. It’s currently touring and winning several awards. She is also known for her film “A Present from the Past”, which was the first of its kind to set a record for audience demand in the Egyptian market. Kawthar is a co-founder of the inaugural Rawiyat-Sisters in Film. She currently works as a producer for feature, short films , TV commercials and mini series
