Post-production Platform

Post-Production Platform is an initiative that aims to help Arab filmmakers to finalize their films by providing in-kind post-production support, including services like grading, sound mixing, and distribution. This project’s primary purpose is to offer support and encouragement to Arab filmmakers, showcase their work on an international stage, and facilitate connections with Nordic producers and film industry experts. The MAFF Post Production Platform includes a work-in-progress screening where 20-minute excerpts of selected projects are presented to film professionals.

Feature films directed by Arab filmmakers, whether narrative or documentary.
Projects should be in the post-production stage.
Narrative films must have a minimum runtime of 70 minutes, and documentaries must be at least 50 minutes in length.
A 20-minute excerpt for screening is required.
English subtitles are mandatory for all participating film projects.
One representative of the project should be available to attend Malmö during MAFF Industry Days.
The film must acknowledge MAFF and the funding organization as supporters in the closing credits, featuring their logos.
