Snow White is a groundbreaking 2024 Egyptian drama directed by Taghrid Abouelhassan, featuring Mariam Sherif as Iman, a young woman with dwarfism navigating societal challenges in her pursuit of love and acceptance. The film is notable for being the first Egyptian feature to cast a woman with dwarfism in a leading role. Snow White has garnered international recognition, winning the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Award in 2020 and the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) Award at the Cairo International Film Festival. Additionally, Mariam Sherif received the Best Actress award at the Red Sea International Film Festival in 2024 for her portrayal of Ima.
