Synopsis:
A film director is working on a documentary about the mutation of Tripoli, the second-largest city in Lebanon. She chooses to work with a family in order to understand how their internal dynamics have been shaped by political events and how the changing social climate reflects on the city itself. She prepares a list of questions to interview them. Instead of addressing her questions, each member of the family divagates into a personal story, a mix of political events, mythology, and fantasy. What starts as a documentary, becomes a docu-fiction of eight tales from the city.
