SYNOPSIS
A haunted Ida travels to the liminal site of her partner’s disappearance in an attempt to feel his presence one last time and to say goodbye.
Shot in a spectral town in the south of Jordan on Super 16mm, this languid character piece wanders through the aesthetic conventions of the cinematic American West and the romantic spirit of the mythical cowboy.

FARIS ALRJOOB
Is an interdisciplinary artist working within the fields of film, video art, and performance. Based in Berlin, he graduated from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and previously from Emerson College in Boston.
He employs cinematic language to experiment with aesthetic form and texture and to explore the politics of identity and desire in a confessional act of selfexpression. His previous work, THE GHOSTS WE LEFT AT HOME, premiered at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and held its Arab World premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival.
