“Daye: Seret ahl el Daye” (2024), also known as “The Tale of Daye’s Family,” is an Egyptian drama directed by Karim El-Shinnawi. The film follows 14-year-old Daye, a Nubian albino with a remarkable singing voice. Despite his talent, Daye faces significant challenges, including abandonment by his father and bullying from peers due to his unique appearance. He dreams of following in the footsteps of his idol, Mohamed Mounir.
